Luka News!

Luka got blessed at church on Sunday!! Poata did the blessing in Samoan so it was really special! Luka of course cried the entire time but nonetheless the spirit was there! Luka had on the cutest outfit that Priscilla had bought for him (picture above). He turned 6 weeks on Sunday he is soo big now, weighing in at about 13 pounds!!! He is smiling a lot more lately and he really likes being outside, I carry him around in a baby bjorn and he loves it! My birthday is this friday and we are going to take him to the Cheesecake Factory with us! Scary! I hope he behaves for me! I really can't wait to take him to the beach though! Poata and I really miss the beach! Anyways here are some pictures...

Hi everyone! I'm sorry I haven't had a new post for a really really long time but I've been busy with my new son!!! I gave birth to my baby boy on July 26th 2009 at 8:04 am! His full name is Luka Nu'ufou Te'o and he was 8 pounds 10 ounces and 21 inches long! He is now 5 weeks old and he is 12 pounds 3 ounces and 26 inches long, he is growing so fast! He is the cutest baby I have ever seen and Poata and I are overjoyed to be his parents! He is so sweet and cuddly and it's such an amazing experience to become parents! Anyways I better post some pictures before my little monster wakes up.

It's a BOY!!!!

So last Thursday we had our first ultrasound and we found out that it is definitely a baby BOY!! We are so excited and couldn't be happier! We went straight to old navy and bought everything in the boys section! When we first found out we were pregnant I wanted a girl really bad and Poata really wanted a boy but after a few weeks I realized that whatever we are blessed with I'm obviously going to be stoked! And since a boy is what Poata was hoping for all along you can imagine how excited he is! Also I grew up with an older brother and I really liked the security and advice so I'm glad our second child will have a big brother but hopefully our second child is a girl. Anyways I just thought I should fill you in on the big news! I will try and find a scanner so I can put up my ultrasound pictures but for now I have a picture of fetal development at 18 weeks, thats how far along I am.

WE ARE PREGNANT!!

So I guess the title says it all but yes! We are PREGNANT!! I'm almost 14 weeks now and we are soo excited!! Our due date is August 5th which seems like forever but but have not had any morning sickness or anything! People say that if you don't get hopefully it will breeze by. I got lucky because I'm done with my first trimester now sick then its a boy but I don't believe that. We can find out what its going to be in a couple of weeks and that is gonna be the best day of our lives!! Then we can start shopping!! But anyways sorry I haven't posted a new blog in years but I figured this exciting news so we better make a blog of it. I can't promise another one until I find out if our first little baby will be a boy or girl. Till then we love you!

Seattle!

Hello! sorry I haven't added any new posts for SOOO long! My computer has been broken for quite some time now and it is finally fixed!! =) Anyways a lot has happened since the last post... for one, I turned 22! I'm no longer 21 unfortunately because I would love to be forever 21 but thats ok. For my birthday I got to go wakeboarding and jet skiing!! it was soooo much fun! we barbequed and stayed at the beach all day and there were a bunch of us and everyone made a really cool treat like homemade/handgrown cucumber salad or butterscotch brownies or the cutest pink cupcakes ever! it was a really fun day! and as if we didn't get enough food there we also went to cheesecake factory for dinner because it's pretty much a tradition of mine. And Poata was so perfect all day! I got woken up with roses and breakfast and presents so thats always nice! And my brother, Jai, got me a ticket to seattle to visit him for my b-day present so that was pretty awesome!! I actually just got back yesterday. I went with my younger sister Savanna and we went everywhere! It was so cool! But of course we were shopping the majority of the time! But we went to the space needle of course, the pikes place market, the freemont market, the freemont troll, gas works park, south center mall, and a bunch of other places as well as some of the most amazing restaurants!! and best of all there were sooooo many vegetarian restaurants EVERYWHERE! We also had a luau party at my brothers house with all vegan hawaiian food like vegan coconut shrimp and mochiko chicken and I made tofu poke, and the deserts were amazing! We had vegan chocolate haupia pie and vegan haupia cream cupcakes and even cannolis! At the freemont market I got to witness a texas chainsaw massacre pumpkin carving contest! It was crazy! Also at the freemont market there was a root beer gardens booth that had hundreds of different kinds of root beer and you could sample them for a dollar! And there was another booth that we got nutella crepes from! yumm! anyways I had a blast and here are a few pictures from the trip...
